Catching Up With New Kids: Tribeca Veterinary Dentistry

Tribeca Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery, which took the former Plaza M space on N. Moore in summer 2023, opened more than a year ago (yes, eternally catching up) and has most recently expanded its team to include a board-certified anesthesiologist and cardiologist.

Founder and veterinary dentist Dr. Jin Jung received his doctorate of veterinary medicine from St. George’s University and completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine (Penn Vet). He then completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at a private hospital in Pennsylvania. Jung then returned to Penn Vet to complete an additional three years of residency in small animal dentistry and oral surgery under oral & maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Alexander M. Reiter. He has led a dentistry and oral surgery service at an emergency hospital in north Jersey since 2020.

He and his wife have two children and a rescue pup, Penny, who is in the shot below with his son. He is also fluent in Korean.

The ground floor has the reception and exam rooms; downstairs has two operating areas.
