Founder, Veterinary Dentist

Dr. Jin W Jung, DVM, DAVDC
Dr. Jin Jung is a Board Certified Veterinary Dentist and Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC). Dr. Jung received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University and completed his clinical year of training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine (Penn Vet). After graduating, he completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at a private multi-specialty hospital in Pennsylvania. Dr. Jung then returned to Penn Vet to complete an additional three years of residency in small animal dentistry and oral surgery under the mentorship of renowned veterinary dentist and a founding fellow in oral & maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Alexander M. Reiter. After completing his residency, he has established and led a successful dentistry and oral surgery service in a multi-specialty emergency hospital in Northern Jersey since 2020. He also began the first veterinary dentistry and oral surgery referral service (NYC Veterinary Dentistry Group) in New York City at a comfort of a primary veterinary clinic prior to opening his own specialty hospital in Tribeca, NYC. As a veterinary dentist, Dr. Jung strongly believes that dental and oral health is crucial to keeping animals happy and live longer healthy lives. His goal is to always deliver exceptional care with compassion and empathy, with the end goal of helping his patients achieve the highest quality of life possible. His special interests include working dogs, patients suffering from maxillofacial trauma, and geriatric patients suffering from chronic dental disease. In his spare time, Dr. Jung enjoys cooking and traveling with his wife, two children, and rescued furry child, Penny. He is also bilingual and fluent in Korean.

Veterinary Anesthesiologist
Dr. Elizabeth Goudie, DVM, DACVAA
Dr. Elizabeth Goudie-DeAngelis developed a passion for anesthesia early in her veterinary training while attending Ross University. Following graduation, she completed a rotating small animal internship in New York City, then went on to pursue a three-year residency at the University of Minnesota. During her residency, she also earned a Master’s degree, with her thesis focused on pain management.

Dr. Goudie-DeAngelis has contributed to the field through published research, including work on dental nerve blocks. Her clinical interests include anesthesia for geriatric patients and those with multiple concurrent conditions. She is especially dedicated to ensuring effective pain management for all patients, from routine dental extractions to complex orofacial surgeries.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Goudie-DeAngelis enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two children, their pitbull, and their hens.

Veterinary Cardiologist
Dr. Dar Ozer, DVM, DACVIM
Dr. Dar Ozer is a board-certified veterinary cardiologist with the ACVIM. Raised in the tri-state area, she has been passionate about veterinary medicine since high school. She earned her DVM from Michigan State University in 2011 and completed internships in internal medicine and surgery, followed by a cardiology specialty internship and a residency in medical and interventional cardiology at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists in Bohemia, NY.

Her clinical interests include complex congenital heart disease, interventional cardiology, congestive heart failure management, and advanced cardiac arrhythmia care.
​
Outside of work, Dr. Ozer enjoys time with her tuxedo cat, horses, fitness activities like spinning, weightlifting, skiing, and yoga, cooking, and cheering on the Michigan State Spartans.
